Having a hard time finding and keeping a good paying job? How does $8 per hour plus health benefits sound? Better People does even more than that; it offers a complete package of support before and after you've been hired. Better People has been endorsed by Uhuru Sa Sa, Lifers Unlimited and 7th Step, inmate groups from the Oregon State Penitentiary. Don't take our word that we're on your side. Take theirs:

"The membership and Executive Body of Uhuru Sa Sa gladly supports the Better People project. The concept of providing support in the form of employment is one that has been needed for a long time now to help greatly reduce recidivism (offenders returning to crime)."

-- Randy West, President, Uhuru Sa Sa Inc.

Better People is the first program in the country to combine job placement and retention services with a therapeutic approach called Moral Reconation Therapy. Listen to what one client had to say about Better People's MRT program:

"I am a 24-year-old single mother in recovery, and it is time for me to make a better life for me and my son. There was a point where I lost control over the crime and the drugs, and they gained control over me. When I started (MRT) I was on welfare, living with others, and not happy. Now I have a good paying job, a management position, have my own car and apartment, and am truly happy."

How does it work, and how much does it cost?
